Privacy: what we log and what we don't

• Pages are static files. We set no cookies and load no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts come from this domain.
• The practice questions and the department filters run in your browser. Your answers and your score aren't sent anywhere, and they're gone when you leave the page.
• Our hosting provider handles standard request data (IP address, browser user-agent, the address requested) to serve pages and block abuse.

App Store, Google Play and app links pass through our own redirect at go.policeexamready.com on the way to the store. For each click, the redirect records:

• the page you clicked on, the test the button belongs to, the button you used and the time;
• your device's operating system, read from the browser's user-agent string, and the full user-agent string;
• your IP address and the network (ASN, internet provider) it belongs to;
• an approximate location derived from the IP address: country, region, city and time zone;
• the referring page, any parameters on the link itself (such as utm_source), and the Cloudflare data center that handled the request;
• where you were sent: an app store, or the practice test on this site.

The redirect sets no cookie and gives you no identifier. The store link carries a label with this site's name, so the store can count visits from here. It carries nothing about you. We use the log to see which pages lead people to an app and to filter out bots. We don't sell the log or share it with advertisers.

We haven't set a fixed retention period for these click records. To have the records from your IP address deleted, email facts@policeexamready.com with the approximate date and time of the click.
