Report an error or ask a question
Email facts@policeexamready.com. To get a fact fixed fast, send the page, the rule as shown, and where the department or the test owner says otherwise.
Report a wrong fact
Write to facts@policeexamready.com with:
- The page address, for example /departments/lapd/.
- The fact as it appears on the page.
- A link to the department's job bulletin or recruiting page, or the test owner's guide, that says otherwise. If it's a PDF, give the page number.
We check it against that source, fix the fact on every page that uses it and update the checked date.
A department changed its test
Agencies change their tests and rules too. Utah is one example: Utah POST dropped the NPOST entrance requirement; individual agencies still use it. If your department now names a different test, or a new cut score or retake wait, send the posting. We update the department's card, and every page that lists the agency follows.
A practice question looks wrong
Send the test, the first words of the question, the option you think is right and why. A reviewer checks the key again against the test owner's published material. If we got it wrong, we fix the key and the explanation of every option, not only the correct one.
What we can't help with
We don't publish a test or hire for an agency. That means we can't book or move test dates, send scores to departments, issue refunds or tell you whether you passed. For those, contact the department, NTN, Pearson VUE or your test site directly.
